[Overview]
The Haneda Hai began in 1956 as the Oi Hai, and has been known by its current name since 1964. The origin of the name comes from the fact that there was a racetrack near the current Haneda Airport before the Pacific War.
Originally held as the first leg of the Triple Crown in the southern Kanto region, it was opened nationwide due to the 2024 changes to the race system and has become the first leg of the Dirt Triple Crown. For that reason, it will be a race that has not yet been implemented in the game 'Umamusume' at this point.
* Southern Kanto region (Oi, Kawasaki, Funabashi, Urawa)
However, since top JRA horses sometimes travel to Saudi Arabia or Dubai, or challenge the Kentucky Derby, the time when truly strong horses are gathered is from autumn onwards. Also, the three-year-old colts from the southern Kanto region may have to race against JRA horses, so there is a possibility that they will avoid running.
Who will carry the future of the dirt racing front? That battle begins here.
